Caradoc Rees

(Griffith) Caradoc Rees (1868 – 20 September 1924)[1] was a Welsh Liberal Party politician.

At the December 1910 general election he stood as the Liberal candidate in the Denbigh Boroughs, but lost by a margin of only 9 votes to the sitting Conservative MP, William Ormsby-Gore.[2]

However, William Jones, the Liberal MP for the Arfon division of Carenarvonshire, died in May 1915, and Rees was elected unopposed at the resulting by-election on 6 July 1915. He held the seat until the constituency was abolished at the 1918 general election,[2] and did not stand for Parliament again.[3]
